Hey all, we are underway preparing for the last ProBots of the year… Season 3 (ah, man that felt good to say!)
There are still many things for us to work on to be able to announce full details for Season 3 but I want to put out authors who will consider participating in Season 3 to think about.
Version
Season 3 of ProBots will operate as the past season of ProBots which is StarCraft 4.10
Adding on to the above post I want to also release additional information ahead of the season 3 announcement.
Rules
The official thread will include the rules but we want authors to get a chance to see them in advance. They can be found here : Rules
Qualification
Qualification for Season 3 of ProBots will be similar to Season 2. But this time the top 4 bot authors from Season 2 will be re-invited to participate in Season 3. We will partner with A.I Arena to qualify the remaining 12 Bot authors from the top of their ladder.

There is an update to the Maps. Due to problems between 4.10 client and 5.0 designed maps we’ve had to make the decision to change the map pool for Season 3.
